Sam, you didn't mention the location of the leak, but if it was the auto-stop fill valve, I can recommend an easy fix. After investigating a re-seal kit for the original valve by the Auto-Stop company, I instead picked up a standard RV Sherwood fill valve and an 80 percent valve, or spit valve, and installed them myself in place of the original. I don't have the part number handy. It has the 3/4" NPT thread to the tank and the standard 1 3/4" ACME thread on the fill side. The spit valve threads into the opening left by removal of the feedback tube for the auto-stop valve. Total parts cost was just over $20 from an RV repair place up in Fort Bragg, CA. Whether you or the shop makes the repair, the tank must first be empty. -Phil
