I think you may be confusing the seller with the medium. eBay is not
entering the descriptions for the hose, it's the person selling the hose.
eBay in this instance, is no different than a newspaper ad. You wouldn't
blame the paper for an odd ad.
Besides, I've had my Vanagon called a "bus" by more than a few people. Same
with a Beetle being called a Bug.
