Unfortunately there is no equivalent to John Muir's excellent book that has watercooled Vanagon coverage. We sell several repair manuals for them, however. While the Bentley manual is more complete, if you are a novice mechanic the Haynes manual is preferable, as it is written more with the "backyard mechanic" in mind than the professional. The best bet is to have both, using the Haynes as a basic reference but referring to the Bentley in cases where you need more detail.
