The power steering rack I sell runs $249 (plus refundable core deposit), and
carries a lifetime factory warranty.These racks have proven to be incredibly
reliable.  In the ten years or so that I've sold them, the only warranty
claim I've ever had was one that had a crack in the boot upon receipt (which
the manufacturer promptly replaced).
