Subject: Ford style MASS system
Content-type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset=us-ascii

HI,

Last week or so a post detailed a modification to remove the airbox and the airflow meter in place of which was a Ford Mass air. To that end I came across this link: http://www.jagweb.com/aj6eng/xk_performance.html that describes the problem well, along with their solution. To me the Ford system has some promise, as in my engine I just would like a touch more power, welll actually a lot more power through another engine, with this engine. So perhaps we'll see Ford Mass airs and a cool air box fabricated in composites, I could see a new life for our waterboxers.

Sincerely,

Mark Keller
