I'd say you'll absolutely love Death Valley that time of year. No. Cal and Oregon you may run into very cold, snowy, icy conditions. We're getting more "wet" out this way than in the last 5 years (I'm in Salt Lake with record snowfalls and low temps .... most coming west to east). Wish I were going to D Valley! I've lived in both No. Cal and Oregon. If you pass through this way, say hi.
