I am looking for inexpensive alternative to the OEM skylight/roof vent on my 87 Westfalia which is in terrible shape. It's missing all the hardware and even the skylight itself is some kind of plexiglass that is badly cracked. Restoring it to OEM setup will cost over $200 using our friendly online vendors. I did some research online, and it seems that the universal 14 X 14 size roof vents for RV's are real inexpensive. Like $25 for manual crank units. Has anyone tried using those? Or can anyone suggest other inexpensive alternatives. Thanks. Jean-Woo |
