This diesel has 205-75R14s on the rear and something else on the front, with
the original 4 speed. 30k on the 1.6 block, normally aspirated. Head
appeared to be in good condition at that time. Timing was set by ear and
feel since I don't have a gauge. Pump and injectors were rebuilt 2 years
ago. This is not a Westy so the profile and weight may be more efficient,
but I do have 3 antennas on the roof.
I never track my mileage driving locally so can't say what it is in the
city.
Seems like this mileage is normal under the circumstances, although last
time I said so someone corrected me.
