And have seen 80s LandCruisers with camper conversions too... now THAT is silly, but they were rental units. I have not seen a van like mine (XLWB high-roof) converted, but these would be the best... cavernous interior and no need of a poptop! If you Google New Zealand you ought to find some rental sitew with images of Hiaces, which are the only Japanese vans now being converted... Transits & LT/Sprinter conversions have become popular too, as well as the odd Fiat and Renault.
