Where do you buy this rebuild kit and what's in it? My trip meter
works now. My main odometer doesn't work. Also, my speedo plastic
needle is broken and I've super glued it back on.
John Rodgers had another post saying that a new one cost close to
$200. Too rmuch bucks for me, Especially since my speedo and
tripmeter work. It's just the odometer that is broken (because I took
it apart to try and fix the tripmeter :-(
I may take it apart again one day.
I don't particularly like the stock vanagon speedo because it's not
backlit very well. If there is an aftermarket speedo with integrated
odometer and tripmeter I could use and it was cheaper, I would
probably use that.
