I have no wiring going to where the switch would be located. However I did find very nice access through the pillar vent on the pax door pillar. A wire could be brought right from the battery box without to much difficulty and only one or two drillings. Also checked the sunroof 83 that is my spare parts van. It has the wiring and switch in the sliding door. But I did note that the courtesy light in it is not the delayed timer type like on my 82 westy and is a plain on/off type with no delay timer in it. Also there was no rear courtesy light just that the switch was in place and that it triggered the regular courtesy light. With my headliner completely off I find that I can do a light the way I was planning. I can bring a lead off of my aux batt up and over through the framing and down through the pillar to a switch next to the door and a light above the door or right on both pillars. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• jimt Planned insanity is best.
