Too true. Before I bought my westy I looked at a 95 Eurovan westy (this was in 1999). We chatted a bit with the salesman and he related the sad demise of the westy's sales potential as the price went up. As he put it, when they were selling vanagon westys, they sold 20+ a year. In 1999 they had ordered two and still had one in September, At that time the new price was $52,000.00 Canadian. The used one was $30,000.00. To quote the salesman "They priced themselves right out of the market."
