Not everything should be "shared" just for a "good laugh."

I was in hurry and when I got out of my work truck (Junker Ford) a spring poked its way through the seat, hooking on my pants, ripping the whole butt open. In my hast I did not realize the change to my clothing.

Upon entering Sears to buy a ½ inch crows foot, I was followed by a woman for from Ladies ware through the store. She offered to help me find the tool department. After getting the "tool," I found a long line at the cash register. She then offered to "check me out," so we went back to the Ladies Dept, where she rang up my tool, then follow me out of the store.

I must have walked about 20 feet from the door, when a breeze blew the "flap" of my pants around and I found out the my butt had been exposed to the view of all (glade I had clean undies on). Quickly taking off my shirt and wrapping it around me I turned to see the sales lady (and some co-workers) laughing and smiling at me.

I left in a hurry and wished she had told me rather then let me walk through the whole store. I am glade no one got a picture of me and plastered it all over the web.

Can we just keep this list on the joys and sorrows of vanagon ownership?
