Dan,

Communities virtual or real are composed of a variety of members. Most
of us band together due to common interest and (theoretically) a
common good. However, just like any community, there will be varying
degrees of commitment from it's members. It would behoove you to
investigate the members that you may have concerns about by checking
the archives. The first thing you will find out about this List is
that things often get blown out of proportion. The bad guy today may
have been the good guy yesterday.

For most of us the same thing remains, our obsession and/or interest
in Vanagons.
