Suspecting that commercial grade tires get a couple thousandths more tread than normal light truck tires. On my set of vredestiens that got destroyed the tread were was at 60% after 13k miles that included a wide mix of highway and dirt roads.

Would be interested in tread life from others on using commercial grade tires.
