I can assure all of you that Eric's speedo was reading what it appears to be reading. I do doubt that it was indicating 130 mph. My rabbit with a swapped 2.0l 16v in it does that speed just fine. The aerodynamics of a Vanagon do not allow it to acheive a true 130 mph. Nothing fishy about his post. I know thats what he saw. I would also like to take this time to point out how inaccurate our speedos are at that speed. I dont think Eric was trying to say he was doing 130 MPH. Either way, give the man a break. He put alot of time and money into a really nice Vanagon. Let him have his glory.
