Frank he is not talking about the small seals that seal the cross over tube on top of the gas tank he is talking about the much larger seals that go on top of the plastic expansion tanks that live in each front wheel well (peer up in there and if you see a large glob of mud with two hoses going to it that is your expansion tank.

I am going to add these seals to my gas tank kits today. I never thought they would be a problem since they are so high up in the wheel well. Live and learn.
