you can bend the 2 metal retaining clips at the back of the cover, to increase tightness..of course the tighter you make it, the harder it is to remove.. i actually bend them so theyre really loose, so its easy to take the cover off. tip: do this inside or when the plastic is warmed up. 20 year old plastic doesnt hold up well to flexing in the freezing temps..
