Not mine, but a friends... it's sad when her VW husband passed away. it's a VERY clean van, and quite neat with the larger crank sunroof and the glass one over the front seats.. who really needs the pop top anyways.. *not mine, but I can help with looking at it /directions if anyone is interested.. ( I did tell her this isn't a great time of year to try and sell a van/camper..) http://thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=129244 1982 Vanagon converted camper - $6500.00 This was my husband's pride and joy. He bought it from a college student from Oregon, the original owners, in '98. He converted it to a camper, removing a row of seats and putting in cupboards. We decided to forego the stove and fridge. It has a new rebuilt air-cooled engine from a company called ATK. It has 15,574 miles on it and he changed it to the Weber carburator system. It's been garaged every winter and was taken on a long trip the summer of '03 to Vermont and Mass. It ran great but it was the last time he felt well. He died in May and I am forced to sell it. It has no rust, the original paint. There is one spot that is damaged in a corner that my husband repaired but never finished. It has a sunroof and moonroof. The seats swivel and there are extra lights and a battery charging system.
