Hold on there one little minute. There are good rebuilds and bad rebuilds. I have been using rebuilt axles with CVs for my personal vans and my customers vans for many years and have NEVER had one fail. The ones I'm getting recently are from NAPA and come with a lifetime warranty. They are coming from a company in Toronto and no I do not have the name handy. The price on the last ones for an auto tranny Vanagon I received a few weeks ago were $204.41 each axle. There was or still is a company in Gatineau, CV Tech, selling rebuilt axles with CVs that had a horrible reputation for failure. So you gots to get the good stuff !
