I towed my Syncro Westy with a rental 2 wheel dolly after pulling the f/r driveshaft out. Drive van onto dolly, remove driveshaft, strap front wheels onto dolly and drive 500 miles to Seattle..but first make sure the rear lug bolts are tight so the LR wheel doesn't roll past you on the road....PO must have not tightened them...I pulled it with an F250 so no weight restrictions...Worked well. after the wheel was reattached...Daryl ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Diehr" <md03@XOCHI.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Wednesday, December 08, 2004 11:18 AM Subject: Towing with Uhaul 4-wheel dolly?
