You hit it right on the head- I know you're right, because it's the same
reason behind why I can't lose weight. Y'see, there's only a certain amount
of fat and skinny to go around, and somebody out there is doing a better job
of losing than I am, hence my difficulties. Actually, my main suspect is my
brother, at 6'7" and 185 lbs., I figger he's got all my skinny and has had
since before I was born.
I had him in the back of my van (rvc) going up Walker Pass and it didn't
slow it down a whit- 37 mph the whole second half of the climb.'Course since
he's got all my skinny, I've got all his fat- it evens out.
Cya,
Robert

Ok it's Friday....
Perhaps the reason for the low mileage is that someone else is getting
extremely high mileage( like 60mpg?).... when their mileage goes down
yours will get better?
Same with the speed. The reason all those deisels go so slow, is that
someone else is using up all the vanagonspeed by going at 130mph, even
if it was only for a very short ( perhaps even theoretical) time.
OK I'll shut up now....

A bad or wrong O2 sensor or connection will cause your problems and will
also eat up what is left of your Cat. The cat being clogged can also
cause the same symptoms. Suggest pulling cat and looking through it.
Should look like looking through a honeycomb pattern with lots of holes
and nothing clogged up or cracked and rattling around.
