Subject: coolant heater no workie
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I have one of those factory stock heater that are on the left side of the engine comparmnet and has the digital read out and display up front. follow? (eberspacher??) It is a gasoline coolant heater.

So, i can get it to turn on, the pump to cycle and some white exhaust to come out of the pipe. Does that mean it is working? Is there an external way to know it is working? How long will it take for the coolant to be warm? How much power will it take from my battery (how long can i run it w/o killing the battery?)

thanks matthew
