I've taken the time to bill yet another set of ramps (keep selling them
after someone else sees them. These lift my vanagon 16" off the ground,
giving me all the clearance I need. I have wielded "stops" to keep from
going to far. I made them out of an old trailer home frame. A 1/4"X 12" I
beam.

Heavy but safe, I plan on building a shop next summer and will put in a pit
as well as a lift. After driving OTR for so many years, where we used a pit
to most of the vehicle's service, I find it hard to get along without one.
