Subject: Dueler on 6wk backorder...anybody using BFG Commercial T/A's?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

The Bridgestone Dueler AT's appear to be on nationwide backorder. I've checked at Costco and Discount Tire and some local places. They guess 6 weeks, but really don't know.

(Costco also told me they can't get in the Michelin LTX, which seems weird, but probably for the better Since I don't want to spend $480 for a set of tires)

I searched the recent archives and found mention of the BFG Commmercial TA last month, but nobody actually admited to using them. I like to shop at Costco and am quite tempted to get this tire for $76 each installed.

Does anybody have experience with it?

I have an 86 2wd vanagon and do most of my miles on the highway, but live and travel in snowy places and at least once a year find myself on muddy Utah backroads.

Thanks,

Doug
