They make it possible to install 80/100 outer bulbss and 100w high beam bulbs, without burning up the headlight switch, so they put out quite a bit more light. They do NOT improve the poor image/light pattern these lights have by their design. The "fetal-MRI-image" gets brighter on low beam. Being able to use the 100w highs is the biggest improvement, I think.

I have been driving in two lane roads a lot at night just north of Columbus and am noticing an extreme lack of lighting. I notice it really bad with a modern vehicle bearing down on me with their nice bright headlights. Does the headlight relay kit make a huge difference or is it just little bit more illumination?

Thanks,

Kurt
