Benny Boy,

You are also so wrong....

I have seen many O2 sensors cause extreme rich conditions. Easiest way to diagnose this is to unplug the O2 sensor and drive the car. The most recent example of this condition was on a list members Vanagon that we resealed the heads on. Once the van warmed up, it started running like crap and very, very rich. Unplugged the O2 sensor and everything was fine. Replaced the O2 sensor and the van ran like a champ.

BTW: I've taken FI 101 (and 102, 201, 202...). Quite a few years ago, I spent a lot of money at Bosch FI school.

Cheers,

Jeff www.vanagonparts.com

O2 goes in safe mode!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check plugs wiring instead...how did you test the fuel pressure relief valve? How did you test the AFM?

You guys are so wrong blaming the O2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FI 101!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Men oh men!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers http://www.benplace.com/heads2/injection1.jpg ------------------------------------------------------ Suddenly my car is using lots of gas. Expensive. Sometimes its fines for a few seconds. Airflow meter is checked and is good. Fuel pressure is correct. Pressure regulator is working correctly.

Any suggestions?

It feels like choking of gas. Also the idling is bad for nearly a year, stalling often, ever since I changed the O2 sensor, that is single wired.

Some of you may know something. Regards, Zoltan
