Stands w/the front wheels chocked. Most of the ramps sold at your FLAPS are just too flimsy to risk performing major repairs under... IMHO.

I only use ramps. I launched my brother's toyota cresida over a set of ramps. scared the dickens out of me . tossed them in the dumpster. Still hear about it and it has been 10 years. What i do with the van is I use two jacks one at each point ( the factory crank type) takes anout two min to get it on the stands .
