Subject: Campers noisier than hardtops?
Content-type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset=iso-8859-1; reply-type=response

Hi! I recently replaced an 87 GL hardtop with an 87 GL Westfalia Camper. The camper seems to be noisier than the hardtop at speeds. Is this normal? I also hear thumping noise coming from the rear wheelwell area when going over road joints or irregularities on the pavement. PO put Monroe shocks in the back. Can these be responsible for the thumping noise from the rear wheelwell?

Jean-Woo
