Subject: 85 stalling probs...Where's the ARCHIVE!!!?!?!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

All,

Unable to search archives since Friday night, it comes up with just a blank page.not sure what's up with that.

My problem has to do with something that maintains the idle on my 1.9.its only when I let off the gas after having the motor revving.could be from driving round town, or coming off the highway.it just has a hard time getting right back to the 750-800 rpm it normally idles at.

The Bentley doesn't seem to be too helpful with this in there seem to be different instructions on the 85, but certainly don't make much sense.

I solved this problem in the past by cranking that huge screw on the throttle body, but in colder weather this made the idle around 1500 rpm, ouch!

Help!

My second problem is the starting when hot.cranks right over when cold, but when I have it warmed up it doesn't want to turn over hardly at all!!! I KNOW there are exhaustive emails in the archive on both subjects, so if someone could hook me up I would appreciate it!!!

Dave
