The fire extinguishers were standard equipment in a Westy. However you should deviate from stock with that itty bitty teeny weeney fire extinguisher and get a decent sized unit that might actually be good for fighting a grease fire or engine bay fire. They are mounted to the upright column down low behind the battery box on the passenger side. Most times they are about an inch above the floor.
