Back in the 50's on through the 80's one of the local watering holes called the Pilot's Lounge had the front 12 feet of a DC3 as the front door. It was easy to spot from a good distance even if you'd already had a few drinks. Recently someone on the Vintage Airstreams List was trying to buy a gutted Airstream Trailer for a restaurant entrance foyer.
