Is there a down side to this installation (like blowing myself up??)?? I know that the compartment is vented, but is the path for exhaust too circuitous for efficient operation. It also calls for the intake air to come from the door panel fresh air intake. How does one insure that the air being used is not coming from the van itself???

Don Don, I had a Plat Cat in my 85. I install the heater just behind the passenger side seat. I vented between the heater and the battery box, on the floor. Worked very good. I could send you a pic of the hole arrangement if you would like one. The propane entered in about the same area. I used 8 feet of hose, and welded up a 4 way connector for the propane tank. I installed the thermostat on the upper side of the closet. Worked very good, but I sold it. I'm going to go with a regular RV furnace. best, John C...

did you see the wax nativity scene? Pres. Bushky was one of the wise cracker men???

I aint a lookin for no trouble babe, I aint looking for no trouble... but that's what we got... from what about me...
