Warren, My experience with I-40 Between OK City and Memphis is that from the Arkansas line across Arkansas to Memphis you are in for a bone shaking, teeth rattling , rectum jarring ride!!!!! That highway is constructed of slab sections - much like tiles - laid end to end across the state. However, for whatever reason - poor concrete, over use by truckers, poor design, whatever, those slabs have bent downward in the center and curled up on the ends. Consequently, you will experience several hundred miles of "Whump, whump, whump, whump, whump, whump, whump, whump, whump, whump. whump, whump, whump, whump, whump, whump, whump, whump, whump, whump simultaneously with the van pitching up and down as it crosses the expansion joints in the highway. I hope your shocks, tires are in good shape.
