Warren says that section of I-40 across Arkansas has been re-paved. That is a good thing. I plan to go back out to Santa Fe, New Mexico sometime after the first of the year and I have been dreading having to drive that route. My usual route to Santa Fe is from B'ham to Memphis via US 78, then I-40 from Memphis to Little Rock to St. Smith, AR to OK City. From OK City ion I-40 to Clinton Corners, NM is not a bad ride. I usually turn at Clinton Corners to go up to Santa Fe. Good road. I never like going through Albuquerque and it is out of the way when going to Santa Fe. John Rodgers 88 GL Driver |
