Wind noise, I can stand. Road noise, I can stand. But the dang spring inside my auto transmission selector lever is rattling like crazy and driving me up the wall. I've pulled the top off the lever, but can't see any way to get to the spring from there. Anyone else had this trouble? How do you get that thing to shut up? Also, anyone know how many amps the OEM fuel pumps draw? I'm putting mine on a push-pull breaker and I have a choice of amperages from 1/2 A all the way up to 15A in my parts bin. I'm going to put a meter on it, but I don't know under what conditions it reaches peak load. I don't want to end up guessing low and having a breaker trip every time I go up a hill and the pressure regulator stolks the transfimbler or whatever. John Bange '90 Vanagon "Geldsauger" |
