This is in the bently on page 90.30 Up to 1983 model year speedo was to read 0 to +3mph tolerance. For model year/calender year the speedo was allowed to have a 0 to +6mph plus 5 percent of actual. This means you could be way higher than actual speed. With jan 85 on they were back to the old standard of 0 to +3mph. The odometer section is regulated to be -1 percent to +3.75 percent And another interesting note I am going to check out There is a number below the mph on the speedo that is supposed to be the number of revolutions to the speedo times 100 to get a distance of 1/100 of a mile.
