Mine says "M8" on the side, so I'd guess 8mm... This is the exact tool I used to replace a half-axle two weeks ago. Good luck!

To offer a more complete answer... that's a tri-square tool, I had tri-square bolts on both CVs on the driver-side half-axle, on my 1985 manual transmission Westie. Same tool fit the new CV bolts I bought from Bus Depot, and the hardware already on my camper.

I'll assume that the same size fasteners will be found on the passenger side as well, but I won't know for sure until I crawl under that side (not until until spring, I hope!).

Your mileage (of course) may vary.
