Subject: WTB Engine Mounts
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hello- I need a pair of '83 Diesel engine side carrier bars or those from a Tiico which are the same.

I was sold a 5-speed transmission and they told me I did'nt need them. Well, the measuring tape tells a different story. the 091 trans with Diesel bellhousing and front mount is 29" long. The 5-speed 094 is 31" long, same as the WBX 4-speed or automatic.

Just as doing a conversion in a automatic WBX or a Tiico with adapter plate, I need to move the engine about 2" toward the rear.

Otherwise I may have to have the '82 bars modified.

My current installation is the '95 A-3 2-liter using the '82 Diesel side carriers and mounts.

Thanks

Robert
