Eh? 14 (nearly 15 years later), and you start complaining about this
rivet?

Whenever a part breaks on a Vanagon, I sit and contemplate that MOST
folks out there in the great unwashed world, don't even begin to
imagine how old our vehicles are. Many are very disappointed to learn
it has been out of production for more than a decade.
