Howdy Listees,

I cleaned and tested the thermostat from my '82 air cooled westy today
and found that it measured 42 mm at around 25 degrees c and 48 mm at
90 degrees c.  While this maximum of 48 mm is over the required
specifications I am curious about what the minimum measurement should
be and if 6 mm of travel is enough to fully actuate the air flaps.
