While my wife finds excuses not to drive our 90 (clutch is stiff, rides
rougher than her acura, etc.--she has a knee problem on her clutch leg)
she does drive it, especially on the road traveling. But though she has
never actually driven it, she seems to have more affinity for the
diesel westy. She treats it as her "nest" and she brags a bit on its
virtues when she gets a chance. My 30+ year-old daughter makes no bones
about it, she prefers the diesel as a more "authentic" VW experience.
She was raised on buses.
