The bleeder valve doesn't supply that little hose. It only allows a small internal opening that's between the two large hoses.

You don't want to close that little hose off.

What I did once was to use a small length of brass tubing, which I heated with a torch, then inserted it where the fitting had broken off. The hot brass allowed the tubing to "Melt" its way in. I then packed the area with JB Weld ... but probably didn't have to. It was in place for 4 years before I replaced it with a new manifold which I got from Vanagain. I still have the one with the brass tube as a spare.
