Subject: A Waterboxer is coming our way...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed

Hi Volks,

I've been lurking on this list for most of a year now, and there's now a waterboxer in the family's future. Dad just made a deal on a very cheap 83 westy in Buffalo; it's been a neglected non-runner but is complete. I haven't seen pictures, but for the price we're paying you really can't be too picky. Apparently the PO couldn't get it running right and left it sitting after he bought something else. Then he took it to someone who could do the repair but now he can't afford that. So it's for sale, cheap; and Dad snapped at it. Why not, he already has two aircooled vanagons and a baywindow project.

We're probably going to pick it up after the holidays.... we have to wait until the seller gets the title from the P.O. and then we need to have the paperwork forwarded to the border crossing no less than 72 hours before we can bring it over.

Happy trails,
