Subject: Speedo info and EGR question
Content-type: text/plain; charset="ISO-8859-1"

This is in the bently on page 90.30

Up to 1983 model year speedo was to read 0 to +3mph tolerance.

For model year/calender year the speedo was allowed to have a 0 to +6mph plus 5 percent of actual. This means you could be way higher than actual speed.

With jan 85 on they were back to the old standard of 0 to +3mph.

The odometer section is regulated to be -1 percent to +3.75 percent

And another interesting note I am going to check out

There is a number below the mph on the speedo that is supposed to be the number of revolutions to the speedo times 100 to get a distance of 1/100 of a mile.

---the question I have and have been trying to find an answer for is.. What mileage is the EGR counter set for on tripping the light not so fantastic.
