Ackshully - the regulator was replace about 7 years ago - seems to be right on schedule for breaking. The grease was dried up on the center track!

Why is it difficult to get all the wires back in the door without rubbing on the inside window? I have tint and it has received scratches from previous door work (dealer induced) Sounds like moving the window switches to the dash makes sense - you avoid the wire harness fatigue failures too.
