Yes, you can reuse the lock cylinder or you can simply switch the lock wafers (like pins only flat with keyhole in middle). I just did this myself last night so my locks can all match. It is time consuming and probabaly best left to experts. First ojne I did took me an hour to do. Subsequent one took me less than 15 minutes each side. Of course, I had lots of extra wafers to pick from. The worst part of the job is popping the pin out that holds the cylinder in the handle. -- BenT |
