The two wires go towards the crossmember that is the crossmember supporting the suspension. Same on my 82. Then the bently uses that same location up to 86 and suddenly says near digi control unit. However why they would suddenly send the ground wire for the sender all the way to the rear of the van doesnΉt make sense (unless it is a syncro/2wd error. Then for 90 to 91 it says near sender unit, which would put it back on that crossmember again if 2wd or at the rear if a syncro
