If you'rre talking about the two rubber hoses out each side, each hose 

has a regular hose clamp. Pinch one off with vise-grips and cut off a 
section downstream to take to the parts house and get some diesel-rated 

hose. Then put the new hose on the downstream end and cut to length. 
Pop on the tank-side hose clamp and quickly remove the remaining old 
hose piece with the new one. This way you won't spill so much.
