Thanks for the info.  Since I don't need the .9bar sensor, does anyone
know if I can unscrew the pressure sender and drop in a VDO oil temp
gauge?  I've already got a VDO pressure sender unit that I'm going to
use on the bottom of the block in the normal pressure sender location
with adapter.

I notice that VDO has an 300F temp sender unit with a M10x1 thread and
another with an M12x1.5 thread.

Does anyone know if:
  1) this is a good location for a temp sender
  2) a common sender will fit

Here's the pict again.  Note that the oil cooler is removed in this
picture, the tube for the oil filter is shortened to accept the filter
without the cooler, and the water pump is removed.  Your 2.1 block
probably looks different.

I suppose I could just unscrew it and get a thread gauge on the
sender.  However, if anyone has done this before or has an opinion on
the location, pass on the info.
